Highlands NC celebrates cars this weekend. The annual Highlands Motoring Festival takes place this Thursday Through Sunday, June 11 through 14, at Kelsey-Hutchinson Park. This is the highest motoring festival in the East and will be filled with fun activities including a classic car show, golf outing, and drives. If you love cars, especially older models, you will thoroughly enjoy the events in Highlands this week.
This year’s motoring festival is highlighting Mercedes automobiles, built in 1989 and before, as the Marque of the Year. Of course there will be many makes, models, and vintages on display at the festival. One of the highlights is Saturday’s Classic Car Show, a wonderful event for all ages and a great opportunity to see some unique cars up close and personal. The Sunday Road Rally and Brunch is a fun way to round out the event. Join the Highlands community and make your way to Kelsey-Hutchinson Park this weekend for some great automobile action.
