There is some great summer theater for the kids in Highlands NC. The Highlands Playhouse has been a cornerstone of the community since 1938, showcasing some of our favorite theater and new pieces each year much to our amusement and delight. This summer the musical Annie has hit the stage, a classic for all to enjoy here in Highlands North Carolina.
Annie opened at the Playhouse this past week and will run through August 17th. There are evening performances as well as matinees and this is a fantastic opportunity for children who have never experienced this musical mainstay as well as for those who cannot get enough of the Broadway hit. Monday there will be a special opportunity to meet the cast at the Ugly Dog in Highlands.
