An annual event across the country is the Audubon Christmas Bird Count, when bird numbers and species are counted and catalog from coast to coast and everywhere in between.

The goal is to take note of all of the birds that you see within a 24 hour period. Whether you are a novice or an experienced birder you are welcome to participate.
