To all of you who are “green” conscious – we want to share a bit of exciting news. In Jackson County North Carolina there is a green energy park.
The concept is fantastic and hopefully other small towns or counties will catch the “green” bug. In Dillsboro NC, they are capturing methane gas from the old landfill to use as fuel for artisan studios, a bio-diesel refinery, greenhouses and other ventures. In addition, the bio-diesel refinery is selling ethanol and bio-diesel to the county for use in their service vehicles.
