Don’t miss the Highlands Motoring Festival this weekend. A treasured annual event this celebration of classic cars embraces our great summer weather and scenic environment. The Highlands Motoring Festival weekend takes place Thursday June 8 through Sunday June 11. The Highlands community will embrace both cars and driving enthusiasts during this unique summer event.
One of the great aspects of the Highlands Motoring Festival is the fact that it is special for participants and spectators. Participants will be able to drive the area in a parade of sorts, enjoying the mountain roads and stunning scenery. One Lap of the Mountains offers a route around less-traveled roads, a treasured event for participants on Saturday. Spectators can enjoy viewing cars and speaking with their owners. One of the most enjoyable parts of the weekend for spectators is when the festival winds up on Sunday with Cars and Coffee. This fun event takes place on Main Street from 9 to 11 am and allows viewing and discussion.
