There is still time to enjoy the Cashiers NC Designer Showhouse. This annual event kicked off on July 24 and is available for all to view through August 4. This year’s theme is “A Day in the Country”, bringing you back in time, experiencing simpler days in the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains. The Cashiers NC area is beautiful at this time of year and getting out to enjoy a special home while supporting the Cashiers Historical Society is a great way to spend some time.
Cashiers Designer Showhouse in amazing location
This year’s Designer Showhouse is located in the beautiful Black Rock Preserve. The home is a cozy and rustic cabin, a true mountain getaway on 28 acres of farm land. Furthermore, the property is the former Cosper’s Flower Farm. Black Rock mountain sits above this Cashiers NC property, showcasing what a magical mountain property this year’s Showhouse truly is.
Cashiers NC Designer Showhouse open every day
The Showhouse is open every day from 9 am to 4 pm. Of course, the annual event is also filled with special activities. From the opening night reception and a movie night to a designer discussion and art demos, there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the event period. Don’t miss the final day of the Showhouse when Old Fashioned Pig Pickin’ will take place from noon to 4 pm. This old fashioned pig roast is a celebration not-to-be-missed!
