Downtown Highlands NC offers Halloween Happiness on Tuesday, October 31. In fact, this will be the 31st year for Main Street Trick or Treat. Put on by the Highlands Chamber of Commerce, the event focuses on a family-friendly atmosphere where local businesses offer treats and trick-or-treaters have a safe experience. This is a fabulous example of how the Highlands NC community comes together to celebrate and have fun.
Main Street is the stage for ghosts and goblins
Costumes and candy will take over Main Street starting at 6 p.m. and the festive fun will run until 8 p.m. Of course, all of the adults in the community are invited to join in the fun too. This is certainly an event for onlookers. After all, good old-fashioned fun is a big part of our mountain community on the Plateau!
Adults are not just watching
All of the shops on Main Street will be handing out treats but don’t be surprised to see all ages dressed up! Downtown Highlands NC will be the place to be for anyone who enjoys Halloween as much as the kids do.
