Country Club of Sapphire Valley

Our Club was created for family and friends to have a destination in the southern Appalachian mountains that welcomed them each season with a temperate climate, picturesque surroundings, outstanding facilities, and has since earned the reputation as the “Friendliest Club on the Plateau.” 

We are a seasonal, member owned Club located in the heart of Sapphire Valley in western North Carolina. Some of our members have made these mountains their permanent home while others retreat here for their “mountain getaway.” 

The amenities at CCSV cater to a wide diversity of member profiles. While members look forward to practicing and participating in many different sporting activities, they also enjoy an array of dining options and special interest groups. Fitness, wellness and nutrition are important to our members with adequate time and attention given to these areas of interest. When it comes to dining, there are multiple venues ranging from formal to casual. 

Whether you enjoy indoor or outdoor activities, life at CCSV is entertaining and social in a relaxed atmosphere. Club members are friendly and relationship oriented — truly a place where everyone knows your name. Members enjoy a walkable George W. Cobb-designed golf course, dining and event options, engaging fitness center, racquet center, lawn sports, and a wide range of interest groups. 

Many of our members come from cities such as Charlotte, Atlanta, Greenville, and Birmingham, that are within hours from our property. The Asheville Airport is a 50-minute drive, and the Club is just minutes away from shopping options including a local farmers market and boutique shops. 

Membership is by invitation. We welcome prospective members who share similar values including an engaging social life, a passion for golf and recreational activites.
