Fun at the Highlands NC ice skating rink!
The Highlands NC community enjoys ice skating at this time of year. The rink has been open since the end of November, and residents and visitors alike have been enjoying this fun cold weather activity. Whether you are a seasoned skater or a total beginner you will enjoy gliding on the ice at Pine Street Park in Downtown Highlands. If you are looking for a fun wintertime activity throughout the holiday season make your way to the rink and take a spin on the ice.
One of the highlights of ice skating is the opportunity to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate afterward. At the Highlands NC ice rink there is coffee and hot chocolate available, offering a great way to warm up as well as the opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new. The Town of Highlands Ice Rink is open on Thursdays from 1 to 8 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 1 to 10 pm, and Sundays from 1 to 5 pm. The cost to skate is $5. There are also rental skates available.
