A little bit about me...

Candace Hobbs, a Denton, North Carolina native, moved with her husband, Jamie, to Oak Island September 2001. Having lived off and on in Eastern North Carolina for 42 years due to Candace’s career relocations for the wood products industry, she could not wait to return to her roots.

Candace and Jamie purchased an investment property in Whittier, NC in 2021.  They enjoyed the mountain lifestyle and the abundance of the area’s natural beauty so much, they decided to purchase a more permanent home in The Cullowhee Forest community near Cashiers where they

will divide their residency between the beaches and the mountains of North Carolina.

Candace holds a BS degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University. Her career prior to Real Estate brokerage has spanned Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing Operation positions with Fortune 500 Companies including Weyerhaeuser and Federal Paper Board Company (now International Paper). Candace and Jamie also owned a wine shop from 2009 to 2021 on Oak Island.  She has served as a board member with the Southport/Oak Island Chamber of Commerce, The Brunswick County Economic Development Commission, and Brunswick Little Theater.

In their spare time, Candace and Jamie enjoy excursions with their four-legged family members and traveling to parts unknown.

We are excited to have Candance as part of the BHHS Meadows Mountain Realty team!
