Cashiers home trends will be on display starting this weekend. The annual Cashiers Designer Showhouse is a fundraiser for the Cashiers Historical Society and will take place from August 22nd through the 30th. The opening gala on the 21st is a night not to be missed, with a preview of the home and dancing at the Wade Hampton Golf Club. You can by a pass for the full week of events or simply take park in a tour of the home and purchase a daily pass.
This year’s Designer Showhouse is The Goodman Cottage, a lovely home located in the Wade Hampton Golf Club. Here you will have the opportunity to view the style and work of 15 professional designers form the Highlands and Cashiers area as well as the work of 5 local landscape professionals. The Goodman Cottage will showcase inspiration inside and out and perhaps give inspiration to owners of homes in Cashiers NC.
