Don’t miss the Cashiers NC Chocolate Cook-Off later this month.  The Friends of the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library hosts this annual chocolate event at the library on Saturday, February 17.  Open to competitors and onlookers alike this fun event is a great way to celebrate the library and bring the Cashiers NC community together.

The Cashiers NC Chocolate Cook-Off is open to professionals and amateurs alike.  The best chocolate creations will get first and second place ribbons.  There will also be an award for people’s choice and the best table decoration.  The best part is that everyone has an opportunity to bid on one of the fabulous desserts in the silent auction that takes part during this fabulous event.

The good news is that the competition is open to everyone in the Highlands/Cashiers area!  Pick up and application at the Front Desk of the library.  Plan on making a chocolate dessert for the judges to sample and small bites for the People’s Choice competition.  Call the library at (828) 743-0215 for more information.
