Cashiers NC enjoys chocolate this month. February is the month of love and chocolate and luckily there is plenty of time to enjoy both, especially your love of chocolate, even after Valentine’s Day comes and goes. On February 18 the Annual Chocolate Cook-Off will take place at the Albert Carlton Library in Cashiers. This is a great opportunity to witness a number of chocolate creations and perhaps even create your own.

The chocolate cook-off is a great way to warm up the winter season and is hosted by the Friends of the Albert Carlton Cashiers Library. Last year over 150 people came to the event to sample the chocolate goodies and raise money for this wonderful library. Stop by and vote for your favorite chocolate creation and enjoy coming together with the Cashiers community for a great cause. You can also pick up a registration form today at the Cashiers Library.
