Cashiers NC hosts a monthly nature series at the Village Green. Sponsored by the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust and The Village Green this monthly event occurs on the last Tuesday each month through the end of September. The lectures and hands-on experiences are meant to expose residents and visitors alike to the wonders of our natural environment. The Southern Blue Ridge Mountains are spectacular and the Highlands-Cashiers area is lucky to have opportunities to learn more about what lives and grows here.

This week’s nature series is being held at the Village Green in Cashiers tomorrow evening. The subject this week is: Country Bear Jamboree – exploring black bears in their native habitat through the lens of Bill Lea. The event will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, July 31, at 5:30 pm. The Village Nature Series is not to be missed!
