Cashiers NC Hosts Tour De Cashiers Saturday

Cashiers NC will be filled with cyclists this weekend as it hosts the Tour De Cashiers on Saturday. This fun annual cycling event offers a number of challenges to choose from, making it a cycling event for all abilities. There is also a 5k run for those who prefer to have their feet on the ground! If you are not up for riding or running, however, come on out and cheer on the Cashiers NC community, locals and visitors alike!
The Tour De Cashiers will kick off at 8 am on Saturday, September 7, 8 am at the Cashiers Community Center. More than 300 cyclists are expected to participate. The rides include a Quarter-Century (25 miles), a Metric (62 miles), and a Century (100 miles). Regardless of the ride there is plenty of challenge to be had! This is the second year for what has become the annual 5k race. The race is a run out and back from the Recreation Center.
