Highlands NC celebrates food next week.  The 10th annual Highlands Food and Wine Festival will take place November 10 through 13.  This gastronomic event serves up some great food and wine, offering variety and great relent from some top chefs.  The Highlands community looks forward to the food and wine festival and if you will be in town nest weekend you should consider making this event a part of your plans.

Highlights of the culinary event being held in Highlands NC next weekend include the Grand Tasting at The Bascom and the Gospel Brunch Sunday morning, held at the corner of 5th Street and Spruce Street.  Of course Truckin will be a unique feature, bringing some of the area’s greatest food trucks to Old Creek Circle.  The Main Event is the ultimate autumn oyster roast on Saturday during the day.  You can get individual tickets or a pass for the entire event.  Regardless if you want to go to one event or all of them you will  not be disappointed.
