Highlands NC Event Feeds the Hungry

A Highlands NC event being held this weekend feeds the hungry. Empty Bowls is a benefit for the Food Pantry of Highlands, raising money for fighting the hungry in our area. Bowls have been made by members of the community at The Bascom. This is a wonderful annual event, an opportunity to join the Highlands community for lunch for a great cause.
What: Empty Bowls
Where: First Presbyterian Church
When: Sunday, October 2
Time: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Cost: $20
The cost to attend Empty Bowls includes the bowl. In addition, children under 12 eat for free but do not receive a bowl. Tickets can be purchased day of the event but are recommended to be purchased ahead of time. For more information contact Andrea Smith at the IFC Office. 828-526-0890.
