Highlands NC, Summer Not Over Yet

Summer is not over yet in Highlands NC.  If you still like the idea of live music in the Town Square, fly fishing, golfing, and partaking in an art class or two then you should stick around a while.  The only thing different here now that it is after Labor Day is that there may be a few less people around town.  This is a fabulous time of year to enjoy the Highlands area, as we transition from summer to fall.

This week in Highlands NC you can enjoy partake in an organized tour of the Botanic Gardens, take a clay or watercolor class at The Bascom, or attend Friday Night Live for some local live music.  Of course you can also take a hike and enjoy a waterfall or two as well.  Regardless of your interests you won’t find any better place to be at this time of year.
