If you will be in Highlands NC this week do not miss out on Halloween fun, get out and trick-or-treat a day early at the Nature Center. The Halloween Enchanted Forest Nature Trail will be have a group tour leaving every 15 minutes between 6:30 and 7:30 pm tomorrow evening, Wednesday, October 30th. This is a great way for all ages to have some Halloween fun in our natural environment.
This fun Highlands Halloween event is being helped out by student from the UNC Institute for the Environment, who will be dressed as friendly forest creatures. The kids will have a great time learning about these different creatures on their adventures through the forest. This fun, educational event will cost visitors $1 each.
