North Carolina’s Official International Festival is Coming July 2009

The 2009 Folkmoot Festival has recently finalized their official schedule and tickets are currently on sale.  The Folkmoot is one of three international folk festivals in the US and will feature over 300 dancers and musicians from all over the world.  Performers from such places as Serbia, Mexico, Netherlands, Kenya, Romania, Israel, Greece, India, and Spain will be coming to the festival hosted in North Carolina on July 16th to the 26th.  This will be the 25th year of Folkmoot and some 100,000 visitors are expected to attend;  Not only will the expected tourism boost the local economy, but it’s a great time to visit NC with friends and family and look for your dream home.
