Register now for the Highlands NC Twilight 5K taking place Saturday, Aug 17th. This annual run started in 2013 as a small race. The fun caught on, however, and has grown every year since. Our community has grown to treasure this event. The Twilight 5K is put on by the Rotary Club as a fundraiser and kicks off at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park in Downtown Highlands NC.
Twilight 5K is all about community
Money raised from the Highlands NC Twilight 5K goes to enhance the lives of youth throughout the Highlands NC community. Additionally, this is a family friendly event and a great time for all ages to get out and stretch their legs! In addition to the race there will be live music, awards, and a chance for a free registration for next year’s race. Get out and join the Highlands NC community on Saturday, August 17th, and enjoy supporting our youth!
The race course is designed for ease. In fact, the course is nicknamed “The Patty Cake” because it is so flat. As a result it is a fun, easy race for all! Also, the Highlands NC Twilight 5k is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race series. This gives you a chance to accumulate points! Add the Twilight 5k to your calendar!
