Wednesdays in Highlands NC are for art. Each Wednesday at the Hudson Library the Community Studio Art Session takes place from 10 am to 1 pm. The sessions are title “Art Your Way” and allow for each participant to tap in to his own unique style. Creative expression is a great way to let your personality shine. Local artists lead the Community Art Sessions at the Hudson Library, so you will be in good hands whether you are a regular or a new participant. More often than not there is a live model on hand, offering the opportunity to hone your drawing and painting skills as they relate to the human figure. The best part of these art sessions is that everyone is invited to attend, regardless of ability. Additionally, anyone can come to observe.
