Cashiers NC kicks off Christmas today! “Christmas On the Green” is a favourite holiday tradition in our area. This special event is one where the thousands of lights on trees throughout the 12.5-acre park are lit and the Cashiers community comes together to kick off the holiday season in our special village.
Christmas on the Green will take place at the Village Green in Cashiers North Carolina this Friday, November 27. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to visit with children of all ages from 2 until 5 pm at the Gazebo. The celebration continues with holiday music and strolling carolers for the Cashiers Christmas Tree Lighting celebration from 5 until 6 pm. There will also be warm drinks and tasty treats, including s’more-making around fire pit. The magic holiday sparkle happens when the switch is flipped to illuminate the beautiful 60-foot spruce in the center of the village of Cashiers.
